Yamaha opened October with a bang as the firm’s Big Bike line-up was officially made available in their Flagship store, YZONE. The MT-09 gives you a whole new level of raw, linear torque for outstanding acceleration. The Super Tenere is built for the cross-town, cross-continent adventurer with comfort and convenience that is delivered seamlessly with its compact 1199 cc parallel twin and Narrow 2-cylinder inline engine. The TMAX, an ultimate long distance motorcycle that gives you power that is complemented by a lightweight aluminum chassis and sophisticated suspension. The Bolt delivers both a refined and agile ride, while retaining the timeless character and soul that is a critical part of owning such a machine. Last but not the least, The YZF-R1, directly developed from Yamaha’s M1. This racing machine is born and built for the fast lane, a circuit-destined machine that is now at the palm of your hands.
The grand launch was made official by YMPH President Mr. Toru Osugi during the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside fellow Yamaha executives. Aside from introducing each new unit, the program also included the recognition of the first Yamaha Big Bike owner in the country, Nicholas Bondoc, who purchased an MT-09.
