ILIGAN CITY ----- Three soldiers of 103rd Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army were wounded after an encounter with the remnants of Maute-ISIS terrorist group led by Benito Owayda Marohombsar, also known as Abu Dar, in one of the towns in Lanao del Sur.
Col. Romeo Brawner, Jr., commander of the 103rd Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army, the encounter, that started at past 8:00 o'clock this morning, January 24, is the result of the operation the brigade conducted since evening of January 23.
Brawner said they are still verifying reports from the community that there casualties from the enemy's side.
"Initial report we received they have casualties," Brawner said.
