Teleperformance, the world’s leading provider of outsourced omnichannel customer experience management services, recently received the 2018 Global Impact Sourcing Award from the International Association of Outsourcing Partners (IAOP) at the Outsourcing World Summit 2018 (OWS18) held at the Renaissance in Orlando, Florida, USA.
In partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation, a New York-based private foundation engaged in philanthropic initiatives, IAOP recognized Teleperformance under the category “Impact Sourcing in a Large Organization” for its leadership in creating impact sourcing models to hire disabled and socio-economically disadvantaged youth in high unemployment areas around the world.
Teleperformance USA Senior Vice President for Human Resources Carla Nolan and Human Resource Analyst Dominique Lichte accepted the award on behalf of Teleperformance companies participating in Impact Sourcing hiring programs.
Teleperformance trains and employs approximately 50,000 individuals worldwide through its Impact Sourcing programs. Its impact sourcing talent strategies include the recruitment of socioeconomically disadvantaged youth under the age of 26 in developing countries, providing training to individuals for them to be productive and thrive in the company, and develop the skills necessary to match clients’ needs. In addition, Teleperformance hires disabled individuals, women, US veterans, military reserve members and members of their immediate families, individuals who were long-term unemployed, and youth without previous formal employment.
Teleperformance has been a champion of impact sourcing and an early adopter for many years. In 2014, Teleperformance committed to create 5,000 Impact Sourcing jobs over five years. By 2016, this goal was surpassed with 25,369 Impact Sourcing hires worldwide. Teleperformance in the Philippines is the highest contributor with 11,921 Impact Sourcing jobs created locally.
Moreover, Teleperformance in the Philippines strongly implements the company’s global policy on Equal Opportunity Employment, which allows for diversity, inclusion and nondiscrimination in the workplace.
