Sweet House Pastry School is a baking and pastry school located at the heart of Cagayan de Oro City – a leading baking school in Misamis Oriental. Sweet House was formerly located at JR Borja-Tiano Sts., now located at Tomas Saco 15, Nazareth. Sweet House Pastry School is is owned, managed and developed by multi-awarded pastry chef – Chef Michellene Roa-Abogado Uapal. Chef Mich was an OR nurse a few years back. She started to learn baking when her second child was born and started up a home business named Cheesamdreya which stands for Che-che, Sam, Andrei and Anya. Back then, Chef Mich realized that she had a passion for baking, so she pursued her passion and enrolled in a professional baking program, became a chef instructor and a coordinator of a baking school. All of us are dreamers and chef Mich always dreamt of building her own baking school. In September 2014, Sweet House Pastry School was born. Sweet House Pastry School has always believed that everything starts with a dream thus it provides its students and clients an avenue to make their dreams happen most especially those whose passion is baking. A year after its opening, Sweet House has been registered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and has been accepting scholars for Bread and Pastry Production NCII.
Sweet House offers a 3-month and 6-month Program in Professional Baking and Pastry Arts and a program in Professional Cake Decorating all designed for to those who plan to put up their own businesses as well as to those who simply love baking. It also conducts one day Lifestyle Classes. Students and clients learn from the best since the roster of Chef Instructors Sweet House is simply the best in their respective fields of specialization.
In its 4th year with a bigger and better location for everyone, Sweet House Pastry School aims to provide a better career-based training program and produce more competent bakers and pastry chefs.
