Sports superstar Gretchen Ho talks about “under armour” during the opening and blessing of Kicks Factory at Centrio Mall in Ayala in Cagayan de Oro City
‘Making milestone in the lives of athletes reachable’

Youth Ambassador and Volleyball Superstar Gretchen Ho has set three standards that her favorite sports outfit, Under Armour, is giving her and helping her perform her best.
First, it is about functionality.
Ms. Ho said Under Armour fits the body the right way and for optimum performance.
“Yung tightness tamang tama lang. Nakalapat lang, tulad sa shorts (product),” Ho said. “Evident is the cycling shorts. It just fits in to my thighs when I try it out in my volleyball games,” said Ho.
Ho, who graced the opening of the Kicks Factory, at the Ayala Centrio, recently, was joined by sports enthusiasts and non-sports, as well, in the opening of the first store here in Cagayan de Oro City.
“We are so concern about performance,” Ho stressed in trying to explain how Under Armour contributes to her sports performances.
Second, it’s about style.
“I fell like a superwoman when wearing them (Under Armour),” Ho said referring to the Avenger’s Costume (Black Widow), saying she will keep it for years, despite being a little costly.
“Classic never run out of style,” Gretchen boldly said, and about Under Armour.
“So, there you have it -- function, then style, and what comes after is confidence,” Ho said.
Ho said in getting into sports either as a beginner or an athlete, Under Armour, “will protect you, specially for those who are just starting out.”
She spoke also about the right tension the brand’s shoes product is giving its users.
“These are little things that are often neglected by other brands, but are actually very important to us -- consumers; we need in our sports, we need in whatever we do in our daily activities,” she stressed.
Mark Lim, general manager of Kicks Factory, said his store’s three brand products -- Under Armour, Nike and Adidas -- are complementing each other instead of competing.
Lim, during a press conference at the opening of Kicks Factory, said: “The three brand of products bring out the best in a person that can harness their performances,” even as he expressed confidence that the products will be patronized by customers jointly or one at a time.
Ho agrees, saying: “That additional grip of confidence helps a lot. Iba talaga kapag binigyan mo ng attention ang panglabas mong anyo kasi naaapektuhan ang pangloob.
“Under Armour can inspire you as much as it inspires me,” Ho said, “making a milestone in the lives of athletes reachable.”
