Call it luck or destiny but for the Iloilo-based government employee Melen Botin, it’s her faith that brought her to win the brand-new Isuzu mu-X at Lazada’s Online Revolution Sale during the grand raffle draw last January 14.
The Online Revolution Sale, which started in 2012, is considered as the biggest online shopping event in Southeast Asia, attracted over 150 million users due to its massive volume of products from home improvements, apparels and fashion accessories, health and beauty products, gadgets and electronics, among others.
To make the shopping more exciting, Lazada has partnered with leading diesel commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu, to give shoppers a chance to win a brand-new Havana Brown Isuzu mu-X LS-A automatic transmission with Blue Power technology.
From millions of users who purchased from Lazada, Botin—a mother from Jaro Iloilo City—was declared as the grand winner of the Online Revolution Sale after she bought a planner, shampoo and flip flops worth P2,000, which served as her main ticket entry in the electronic raffle.
Present during the awarding ceremony were Ray Alimurung, Commercial Business Head for Retaial and Brands of Lazada Philippines; Joseph Bautista, Division Head of Marketing Isuzu Phils. Corp., Yasuhiko Oyama, Vice President for Sales Isuzu Phils. Corp.; and Online Revolution grand prize winner Melen Botin.
The official turnover of the Isuzu mu-X unit was held at Lazada warehouse located in Santa Rosa, Laguna last February 14.

The Online Revolution Sale has been the yearly campaign of Lazada allowing their online shoppers to experience an amazing deals and huge discounts from different leading brands.
