CAGAYAN de Oro City–The provincial government of Misamis Oriental will conduct a one-day free legal consultations, assistance and notarizations of legal documents on the Capitol Grounds on December 15, 2017.
According to Provincial Legal Officer, lawyer Cerillo Neil Pacana, the program is to give chance to those who could hardly seek legal advices and affidavit makings for free.
“We have this program, a one-day program for the grassroots this December 15. We will give them advices and make them affidavits for free,” Pacana said.
Pacana said that at least 30 lawyers of different expertise coming from various institutions have signified to join the project.
“If they have concerns on birth registration, land conflicts, etcetera, we will have lawyers to answer their questions,” Pacana said.
Governor Bambi Emano lauded the Provincial Legal Office’s project, saying: “It’s laudable and worth commendable program.”
“I really appreciate our Provincial Legal Office initiative lead by Atty. (Cerillo Neri) Pacana’s initiative. This is where and when our poor people can actually release all their burdens and be guided by our experts in the legal field,” Emano said. (with PR)
