DAVAO CITY - Under the leadership of national chairman Celso A. Tizon, and through his initiative, the Hugpong Federal Movement of the Philippines held a consultative meeting and fellowship with attending officers of HPMPI officers and members.
The program started with prayers for Muslim and Christian adherents. It was hosted by Regional head Dir. Conrado Pacifico V. Manigque who expressed his thanks and gratitude to the participants who attended the consultative meeting.
Manigque also expressed his views on the presentation of the draft for Federal Constitution. He recalled the main message of Peter Tiu Laviña, HFMPI National Convenor the National Conference, which was made on June 28,2018, for the members to study the draft.
The participants were reminded that suggestion for changes of the draft should be made before it will be finalized by the constitutional commission, and to be presented to the President before it is endorsed to the House of Representative and the Senate. As usua, the regional heads nationwide and members of HFMPI we’re encourage to continue the drive to promote the adoption of the Federal System of government for the country. He said, this is the only way that true genuine changes can take place in the Philippines.
