Chairman Nelson and UK Representative Dallison will meet with potential foreign investors interested in doing business in the Philippines. The two esteemed representatives will participate in 1-2-1s and round table discussions with UK companies. Furthermore, they will engage in a market briefing with the Philippine Ambassador to the UK, Ambassador Evan Garcia.
To guarantee entry to the festival, delegates must register for the online Business Club – a bespoke business-matching service (free of charge). The Business Club will also provide exclusive benefits during the run-up to the festival, including a range of free business-support services. Financial incentives are available for British and overseas organisations recruiting delegations for the festival (Travel to Trade/Fly to Buy), as well as discounted train travel for attending companies.
Subsidies of £2,000 are on offer to support overseas delegations via the Fly to Buy program. Fly to Buy is aimed at embassies, trade associations and similar organisations with a track record of delivering international business delegations. In order to be eligible for the Fly to Buy incentive, a delegation must consist of at least five companies of the same country/region. The said delegation may be comprised of buyers, investors or those looking for joint ventures, mergers or acquisitions.
