The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) of Agusan del Norte intensifies its effort to enhance the knowledge in agricultural productivity, promote economic activity under the Farm Business School (FBS) project to two Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations (ARBOs) which was launched last June 6, 2018 held at Tubay town.
The activity was attended by DAR Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Andre B. Atega, CESO V, Tubay Mayor Fidel Garcia, Prov'l Dir. Brenda Corvera, ATI Rep. Mr. Lure, MAO Delma Vasquez, Tubay Vice Mayor Raquim Cuyos, and CSWD Officer Evelita Regis.
PARPO II Andre B. Atega, CESO V, in his message said that the government is now providing enough support services to our ARBOs with the aim of developing our farmers to become agricultural entrepreneurs.
He added that FBS project develop farmers make their farm profitable and can effectively respond to present day farming challenges.
The recipients of the training program are some twenty-eight members of Doña Rosario Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) Holders Vegetable Producers Association (DRCHVP) and Kabayawa Sala Farmers Association.
Tubay Mayor Fidel G. Garcia, Jr. in his message challenge the farmers to work hard and should learn lessons from the failures of several projects implemented.
DRCHVPA President Hector dela Cruz in his message proudly accepted the projects and promised to do their best to make it more profitable.
“Dako namong garbo na kami nakadawat niini nga hagit ug among ipasalig na kami maningkamot aron kini malamposon, (We accepted the challenge and promised to make it a success, in support to the call of the government to make it sustainable”), he said.
