THROUGH Resolution No. 12957-2018, the 18th City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy declared the period April 30, 2018 to May 6, 2018 as Order of DeMolay Week in Cagayan de Oro.
This is on the occasion of the 15th DeMolay National Conclave and the 21st DeMolay Alumni National Congress to be hosted by the Wadih C. Saab Chapter Order of DeMolay-Cagayan de Oro on May 3 to 6, 2018.
Councilor George S. Goking, proponent of the resolution, said the declaration is in recognition of the valuable contributions of the Order of DeMolay-Cagayan de Oro to the growth and development of the city through outreach programs and other activities.
The resolution was endorsed by the committee on laws and rules chaired by Councilor Ian Mark Q. Nacaya.
