Suzuki Philippines (SPH) recently staged a grand gathering of Suzuki Riders – the Suzuki Raider R150 Summit at the World Trade Center in Manila. Registering more than 2800 riders in attendance, it was the motorcycle industry’s biggest riders-only event organized by a single manufacturer. No less than 45 clubs from different parts of country were present during the event - from Ilocos down to Koronadal.
The day was kicked-off by a ribbon cutting spearheaded by SPH President Hiroshi Suzuki, assisted by the brand’s Motorcycle Division Sales and Marketing General Manager Jun Bulot, Marketing Manager Monch Bontogon and Assistant National Sales Manager Mitsunori Shiraishi.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the Raider R150 Reloaded – an upgraded version of the popular Raider R150. The new Raider R150 retained most of the features of its predecessor save for the updated decals and unique wavy disc brakes. The Raider Reloaded now also comes with tubeless tires. All these are packed with the familiar 150cc DOHC 4-valve, 6-speed engine. The day became more exciting for two particular riders who were present, Mitchel Andrew Magat and Marlon Cataina, each winning a brand new Raider R 150 Reloaded in the grand raffle. The Raider R150 Reloaded will be out this January and will be available at an SRP of Php 94,900.00
Also among those who made the Raider R 150 Summit possible were the following trade partners: Faito, IRC Tire, NHK Helmets, Gm, RK Racing Chain and Sprocket, Euromina Tires, Bushido, SKK Mobile, MotoActive, RCB, Spyder and Sun Cellular.
