2017 marks the 10th year anniversary of Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. and to celebrate such a momentous occasion they held a historical event in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. It all started with the Yamaha Club National Touring which consisted of 1000 riders made up from different sub groups from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. They all converged at the lovely City of Cebu to witness the Yamaha Grand Prix 8.
The competition returns to the region of Cebu to give riders of the region the opportunity to qualify for the finals. The steady increase of talent has propelled the quality of the race through the years with the YGP standing as an avenue for competitors to hone their skills. A highlight in this leg of the racing series was the launching of the Mio Aerox 155 alongside Yamaha Ambassador Matteo Guidicelli, the highly anticipated automatic model that is powered by Yamaha’s state-of-the-art engine, the Blue Core.
