Cagayan de Oro-Iligan-Bukidnon hosts Fam Tour for Phil Tour Operators

Cagayan de Oro will host a three-day travel fair on August 26-28, 2015 at the Ayala Centrio Mall in Cagayan de Oro City. Th event is mounted by Swift Travel & Tours in partnership with Centrio Mall, Seda Centrio, and Professional Organizers Unlimited, the Department of Tourism Regions 10 and 13, It’s More Fun in the Philippines in partnership with Globe Telecoms, Oro Photographic Society, Inc. and Bank of Philippine Islands.
“This will allow mall guests and visitors to book and buy promo tickets and tour packages in one location, “ said Tito Mora, travel fair organizer. Local and International destinations will be on sale including the world’s best brands such as Insight, Royal Caribbean Cruise, Glbus and many more, offered at a discount during the Fiesta Travel Sale.
Meantime, Mr. Mora revealed that he has been tapped by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association Inc (PTAA) of which Swift Travel is the sole member in the region for a Familiarization Tour.
A total of 42 members companies and tour operators will be able to visit Cagayan de Oro City, Iligan, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon. The group is expected to arrive on August 26 and will stay two days in Cagayan de Oro before proceeding to Bukidnon where they will be hosted by Dahilayan Adventure Park.
“From the airport they will tour Iligan then head back to Cagayan de Oro,” said Mr. Mora. “They will be stay at Seda Centrio for 2 nights and will stay over to watch the Civic-Military Parade on August 27. After their whitewater rafting , They will then proceed to Bukidnon for an overnight familiarization tour before flying back home on the 29th.
The group will be hosted by the LGus of Iligan, Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental including Congresswoman Juliette Uy, DOT 10, Kagay, 1st Rafting, Bugsay and Red Rafts and Apple Tree Resort.
